Believe it or Not
When I meekly claim that I am now a member of MChOrale (UPMCO’s official singing group), people would have the urge to either propel from constant chortling or throw-up slugs ala Ron Weasley in The Chamber of Secrets.
They wouldn’t believe it. They would almost resort to believe all kinds of myths and superstitions.
Well, I’m not surprised though. Lol.
December 8: Off we went to some edifice in Ortigas and faced off other “professional” choir groups in this audition thing in Sunshine Radio DZAR 1026. We sang Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Crossed fingers!
December 10: It was dusk when the CMC‘s Carolfest started. We competed against UPCAST (last year’s chmapion) and Cineastes with Jingle Bells, Kumukutikutitap and Tahanan Mo (CMC’s pioneer hymn). Guess what…
WE WON! Go MChOrale!!! Congratulations to all of us especially “Headmaster” Ate Nel!
December 14: We were automaticaly selected as the offical representative of the college to compete with the inter-college contest to be held in (gasp!) UP Theater (faints!)! Oh my gosh. This will be my first performance in such prestigious stage. Eek! So excited! God bless everyone. Obviously, I cannot contain my happiness.
PS: This might occur to you as a HUMBLE post. Smirk.
