Scarves, bangles, ripped jeans, flowy dresses and boots broke the conventional urban scene with UP JMA’s Boheme at the RCBC Hexagon Lounge, last January 30. The carefree boho spirit flickered in the black lights non-traditional art exhibit rendering the people wild yet blithe. Bohemian-inspired installation arts pieces were showcased, serving as one of the highlights of the artsy event.
The night rocked more with an excerpt performance from Rent the Musical, drumming recitals by Kuwago, Tonight We Sleep and Enemies of Saturn, and of course, vibrant music care of I Love You X Future DJs Chie Castañeda and Pedicab’s Diego Mapa. Nocturnal party-goers certainly have imbibed not just the free-flowing drinks from Southern Comfort but also the philosophy of Viva La Vie Boheme, meaning “Live the Bohemian Life!”
PS I’m sorry for the blog post’s lack of personal account as if this was to be written on magazines as press release. (Actually, this is THE press release for magazines/media partners. Lol). I can’t seem to jot down as much information about this one, cos I really have no time in the world and not because I was drunk. This was for me a wholesome night to remember, especially having a lot of my friends around.
Okay, I’ll blog more wholeheartedly next time, guys. See you!
