Yep, rumors say that beloved [?] “People’s Champion” is out there, shooting for a Metro Manila Film Festival entry where he (sorry to say) is The Star. Aside from that, he’s now under a GMA 7 exclusive contract. This time, fairy tales can really happen. Don’t be surprised to see a mananaggal peeking at your window.

Not to forget, MMFF has gained disrepute because of usual judgment-questioned controversies, revolting pseudo-essence/ pro-hypercommercialism and appalling mediocrity. Come on, if it weren’t for Christmas day, those producers, actors, movie-houses and all could have succumbed to retirement.

Is Manny’s acting compelling? Or at least convincing? I have observed that fluency in Tagalog fails him.

Is anyone eager to see this upcoming movie?
